Head of State Vladimir Putin believes that the West is responsible for changing the food situation in the world. He raised this topic during a meeting on the progress of seasonal field work, which he held remotely, the correspondent reports. DOPs.
The President said that deliveries of domestic grain and fertilizers outside Russia are still difficult.
In this context, he recalled anti-Russian sanctions. Vladimir Putin believes that they threaten to turn into a further deterioration of the situation, a global food crisis.
“This is completely unrelated to Russia’s special military operation in the Donbass. Some leading countries have built their finance and food policies in such a way that we are seeing the result that we have today. And the responsibility for it, of course, lies entirely with the so-called collective West,” the President of Russia added.
Recall that in the summer the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu Participated in in the signing of documents on lifting restrictions on the supply of domestic products for export and on Russia’s assistance in the export of Ukrainian grain. This was implemented with the support of Turkey.
