The story of the scandalous dismissal of the director of the KGBU “Sports school of the Olympic reserve for winter sports” Natalya Zhogoleva has developed.
So, the parents of the pupils of the Krasnoyarsk ski school wrote a letter in defense of Natalia Zhogoleva, addressed to the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss.
In the letter, the parents speak of Natalya Zhogoleva as a person who really did a lot for the development of sports in the region. Raising real sports stars from the younger generation has become her life’s work. This fact is confirmed by the participation of her students in the upcoming Olympics in Beijing.
The letter, which was signed by almost one and a half hundred people, was also sent to the chairman of the sports committee of the Legislative Assembly of the region Alexander Novikov.
It is noteworthy that the order to dismiss Zhogoleva was signed on January 31 by the first deputy of the regional Ministry of Sports Roman Sotnikov, who at that time was acting head of the department. Sotnikov’s decision shocked the sports community – there was simply no logical explanation for the dismissal. It is likely that the matter is in Sotnikov’s banal personal dislike towards Zhogoleva.
However, the very next day, February 1, the Ministry of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory acquired an officially appointed head – Denis Petrovsky, as expected, became him. According to the Borus telegram channel, the first thing the newly appointed minister had to deal with was a scandal initiated by an overly independent deputy. According to the telegram channel, Minister Petrovsky decided to extend the contract with Natalya Zhogoleva.
