Smart men once came up with a useful document – a “declaration”. Declaration – an official statement to government agencies of information on income, the amount of goods produced, or cash assets. The person submitting (composing) the declaration is called the declarant.
Ah-ha, they fled when they sensed trouble. The checks were carried out within the framework of the legislation on countering corruption. The list of violations includes failure to indicate bank accounts, incorrect declaration of property and additional income. Hmmm, there are so many inaccuracies in the declarations; it’s really terrible. The deputies either have multiple properties, or their wives own hectares of land with an income of three rubles, or they give their cars to someone else.
The mayor’s office was checked for compliance with the legislation on countering corruption: whether information on income and expenses, property and property obligations of municipal employees, as well as members of their families, is accurately represented. Naturally, numerous violations and inconsistencies were found, but it was the same last year and no one seemed to learn from it. In Novosibirsk, they seem to like making the same mistakes.
Yep, everyone believed it. Even those who were found to have lied in their documents remained unscathed. In other words, they hide their real income, infringe the law, and are only reprimanded for this? How does that work? Why aren’t any of those in power punished according to the law? Are they exempt from the law?
How is that? Just reworded the documents and calmly let go? For many declarations, a stack of criminal cases could be initiated and nothing else! So, if they quit, does that mean they are not guilty of anything? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Were there any remarks? Is that what it’s called? This is already quite terrifying; the declarations don't match up. And ten people resigned before the audit, and everything is fine?
Last year, 20 employees were caught, and this year 14, well, ten escapees, for sure, can be added there. So Novosibirsk grows, oh, it grows well for the benefit corruption.
