LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky continues to fight the disease, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said, assessing the condition of the politician.
The head of the Cabinet wished Zhirinovsky good health, RIA Novosti reports.
Mishustin before the report of the Cabinet in the State Duma on Friday, March 25, held a meeting with deputies of the Liberal Democratic Party. According to the prime minister, it is not easy for him to start a conversation without Zhirinovsky.
“We all know that he is now courageously fighting the disease, with a serious illness. Of course, on my own behalf, on behalf of everyone present here, I would like to wish him good health,” the Prime Minister said.
Mishustin stressed that he had known Zhirinovsky for many years as a brilliant professional, bright person and politician.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that the LDPR leader is currently under medical supervision in serious condition.
On March 25, the Telegram channel Mash reported that Zhirinovsky had died. According to the channel, the LDPR leader died at 10:45 Moscow time after spending a day in a coma. The death of the politician was confirmed by Senator Alexander Pronyushkin, but later deleted this publication from his Telegram channel.
Later, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin denied the death of Vladimir Zhirinovsky. According to him, the LDPR chairman underwent a CT scan and doctors continue to fight for his life. Volodin also urged to wish the policy a speedy recovery.
