Today it became known that Belarus agreed with Russia on the restructuring of financial obligations – Minsk found “full understanding” with Moscow on this issue, reports a correspondent DOPs with reference to the statement of the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko.
He stressed: “We heard from the presidents an absolutely solidarity position on all issues. There are economic nuances. In particular, the Russian Federation provides credit support for the restructuring of Belarus’ debt to Russian financial institutions. We also raised this topic. She found complete understanding among her Russian colleagues.”
Golovchenko noted that Moscow listened to the Belarusian position on this issue. He also announced the possibility of supporting the economy of Belarus under the current circumstances.
For the first time, Russia will fix gas prices for Belarus for a period of three years. He explained that the decision was made in order “to have stability and to be able to proceed from specific figures in our macroeconomic forecasts,” Mr. Golovchenko added.
