Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, during a meeting with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, said that Russia and Cuba are under a constant stream of sanctions, but no restrictions can restrain their development, the correspondent reports. DOPs.
Medvedev also said that the Cuban politician is planning a big visit, during which he is expected to meet with President Vladimir Putin, negotiate with parliament, and make party contacts. Such multifaceted contacts testify to good, friendly relations between the countries, Medvedev stressed.
Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez will take part in the opening ceremony of the monument to Fidel Castro in Moscow on November 22.
It is noted that during the talks, the parties plan to discuss the current state and prospects for the development of the Russian-Cuban strategic partnership in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as exchange views on key topics on the international agenda.
