According to Bloomberg, the US Department of the Treasury and the US State Department are calling on the largest financial institutions not to refuse cooperation with “certain strategic Russian companies.”

The authorities are asking companies not to refuse to provide “basic services”, in particular, to Gazprom and others.
According to Bloomberg, the cover-up efforts by the US presidential administration are aimed at reducing the negative effects of restrictions.
Recall that recently the authorities of Canada decided to introduce sanctions against over 30 individuals and several legal entities from Russia. Under the restrictions, in particular, were the leaders of the company “Gazprom”.
