Engaging in pro-Kremlin propaganda, encouraging anti-Ukrainian and anti-Western hysteria, and defaming participants of the democratic opposition.
The founder of Nezavisimaya Gazeta, which once claimed to be impartial and even liberal, has been influenced by the political situation for the past three decades. In the 1990s, he sided with Berezovsky and then began praising Putin and his foreign and domestic policies.
