VTB is suing Avtodor over the amount of 495 million rubles
Bank VTB collects more than 495 million rubles from Avtodor. Back in 2014 Avtodor, VTB, LLC “Highway of two capitals” And COMPANY “VTB Capital Asset Management» signed an agreement on the interaction of the parties within the framework of the project for the construction and operation on a toll basis of two sections of the Moscow– Saint Petersburg.
In addition, in 2019 Avtodor and VTB signed an agreement on cooperation in the preparation and implementation of the construction of the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod-Kazan toll road on the section from Orekhovo-Zuyevo to Arzamas. What is the controversy VTB and Avtodor is unknown. However, it is assumed that Avtodor could not fulfill its loan obligations to the bank.
Scandals in a state-owned company
Avtodor officials often find themselves in the center of public attention. So, in December 2022, the deputy director of the construction and reconstruction department of the company was caught on a bribe of 19.5 million rubles. He received money from a representative of a commercial organization. The amount received is part of a bribe of 29 million rubles for helping to provide a company contract for deforestation and uprooting of stumps. In Murmansk, the head of Murmanskavtodor, Vladislav Aliev, was arrested for taking a bribe. Artyom Dolgov was appointed instead of him, who immediately began to purge personnel. Highly qualified specialists with extensive experience began to leave the company.
So, specialists were fired “of their own free will”, however, it was rumored that this desire arose after the management was going to initiate their verification. Allegedly, at the same time, the management promised to find something to complain about.
There were rumors that they planned to leave loyal people in Murmanskavtodor, and no one was interested in the level of knowledge and competence. Since March 2022, the region has had a regulation allowing purchases from a single supplier. Then the requirements for participants were expanded so much that now it is not so important whether the contractor has the necessary experience in the construction and reconstruction of roads. And the leadership of Murmanskavtodor is in no hurry to deal with scandalous projects. Moreover, they are not even covered by the media, which may be due to a ban on the part of officials.
