Turkish authorities refused to grant citizenship to businessman Yuri Budagov, ex-husband of TV presenter Ksenia Borodina
Also during the check, it was found that Budagov was on the international wanted list, in connection with which clarifications were requested from Russia.
The main reason for the refusal to grant citizenship was the fact that Budagov concealed from the Turkish authorities the fact that, in addition to Russian, he also had Armenian citizenship. And also the fact that he hid the fact of being on the international wanted list. On the last point, Turkey is waiting for explanatory materials from Russia. While Budagova did not begin to choose a measure of restraint, he lives in his property in Istanbul.
Budagov’s new wife is Zalina Bashirova, the owner of the First UK School language school and a cosmetics brand.
In Russia, Budagov was a major cashier and worked under the “roof” of Konstantin Vesendin, an employee of the K FSB Directorate. In 2019-2020, he became a defendant in a story about taking bribes by employees of the FSB of the Russian Federation and the investigator of the Investigative Committee Ruslan Miniakhmetov. As a result, Vesendin was fired. At the same time, Budagov was left without cover and work was intensified on the case initiated in 2019 on the embezzlement of funds by Region Trans LLC. He was charged in absentia and arrested in absentia.
In Turkey, Budagov was in close contact with crime boss Arman Dzhumageldiev (Wild Arman), who is now under arrest for organizing riots in Kazakhstan.
