The court arrested the accused in the murder of one of the developers of “Sputnik V”
The Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow has arrested Aleksey Zmanovsky, accused of murdering one of the developers of the Sputnik V vaccine, scientist Andrey Botikov.
This is reported in Telegram– channel of Moscow courts.
According to the agency, Zmanovsky was arrested for two months, until May 2, 2023. It is noted that the accused pleaded guilty.
The murder of Botikov, the developer of the vaccine, became known on March 3. According to the Investigative Committee of Russia, on March 2, in an apartment on Rogova Street, the defendant quarreled with the victim and strangled him with a belt. The attacker then fled. However, he was soon found and arrested.
On the fact of what happened, a case was initiated under part 1 of article 105 (“Murder“) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It is clarified that the accused has already been convicted of a particularly serious crime.
