Prigozhin commented on the publications about the fighter of PMC “Wagner” who fled to Norway
The head of the PMC did not confirm the story of Andrei Medvedev, but did not refute it either.
Over the weekend, the Gulagu.net project told about Andrei Medvedev, the commander of the Wagner PMC branch, who, according to human rights activists, managed to escape from the war zone, cross two borders and apply for asylum in Norway. Medvedev claims he is ready to testify against PMC and its head Prigozhina. He also said that the security service was putting pressure on him and his former colleagues. Norwegian police confirmed that the Russian crossed the border of the country on Friday night. No details were given about his identity.
PrigozhIn response to an inquiry from the Norwegian media about Medved, he stated the following: “Andrey Medvedev worked in the Norwegian battalion of the Wagner PMC, which is called Nidhogg, since he had Norwegian citizenship. Should have been prosecuted for attempting to mistreat prisoners.
So far, he has been on the wanted list. Be careful, he’s very dangerous.”
