In Instagram there were “channels” by analogy with Telegram

Meta* CEO Zuckerberg today announced a new feature – channels – and invited to join the Meta* Channel, which already has 159,000 members. The new format is very similar to Telegram: texts, images, polls – from the author, reactions and votes – from the participants. By the way, only subscribers of the account can become them.

The company also plans to add Facebook* and Messenger* channels in the coming months.
