Zakharova responded to the call to consider Arestovich a “Kremlin agent”
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responded to the call to consider the adviser to the office of the Ukrainian president, Aleksey Arestovich, “an infiltrated agent of the Kremlin.”
She spoke on this topic in her personal Telegram channel.
“After “shooting down”, and then “not shooting down”, by the Ukrainian military, rockets over a residential building in Dnepropetrovsk, and then the Dnieper, Arestovich in Ukraine begin to be declared an infiltrated agent of the Kremlin. No, it won’t. He is the face of the Kyiv regime. [Президент Украины Владимир] Zelensky is the nose, and Arestovich is the face,” the diplomat said.
Earlier, the mayor of Dnepropetrovsk, Boris Filatov, expressed the opinion that the Security Service of Ukraine and the counterintelligence of the country should take a closer look at Arestovich after his statements about the reasons for the collapse of the entrance of a residential building in the city – he called the explosion of a house in Dnepropetrovsk the result of the work of Ukraine’s air defense systems.
The collapse of a residential high-rise building in the Ukrainian city became known on Saturday, January 14. Local authorities reported that nine people were killed and 64 others were injured.
