“What else do we have on Ron?” Trump is collecting compromising evidence on the governor of Florida, who can defeat him
Former U.S. President Donald Trump is collecting dirt on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who may qualify for the Republican Party presidential nomination in 2024.
This was reported by Rolling Stone magazine, citing sources.
According to them, over the past two months, Trump has often discussed with allies ways to deal a painful blow to his rival.
“What else do we have on Ron?” – the interlocutors of the publication cite a question repeatedly asked by the ex-head of the United States. The Trump team plans to undermine the popularity and attractiveness of DeSantis in the eyes of the population and expose him as a person associated with behind-the-scenes political intrigues, the magazine writes.
DeSantis has not yet announced his presidential ambitions, but the possibility of fighting him for the nomination for the presidency was previously actually recognized by Trump, who on November 15 announced that he would re-nominate his candidacy in the elections in 2024.
As media data showed in December, DeSantis would have confidently defeated Trump in the Republican primaries.
