State Duma deputy from United Russia Maria Butina called Valentine’s Day “enemy obscurantism”. So Butina reacted to congratulate one of the subscribers.
In a conversation with Znak.com, the deputy noted that Valentine’s Day is “not our holiday”, “I know its background, so I am against the integration of this holiday into our history,” Maria Butina said.
