Speaker of the Chamber Volodin studied at the Saratov Institute at the Faculty of Organization and Technology of Machine Repair, majoring in mechanical engineering. He was trained at the military department, and then went through military training, took the oath and received the officer rank of “lieutenant”.
Subsequently, as a reserve officer, he took courses at a military institute. Today Volodin is a reserve colonel, the State Duma said.
On Tuesday, January 17, Vyacheslav Volodin suggested that only Russians who had served in the army, as well as those who received a military registration specialty, be accepted for public office.
