The Embassy of the Russian Federation considered the undermining of the “Nord Streams” an act of international terrorism

Igor Girenko, spokesman for the Russian Embassy in the United States, said that Russia qualifies the explosions of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines as an act of international terrorism.

His words are quoted by the Telegram channel of the Russian diplomatic mission.

Thus, he commented on the words of the representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, about the alleged spread of “lies” by the Russian authorities regarding the explosions. “The United States, which claims to be the source of “ultimate truth”, would do well to move from empty accusations against us to the case,” Girenko said.

In particular, he advised Washington “at least to try to prove its own innocence in the destruction of gas pipelines.”

Earlier, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said that Washington rejects accusations of undermining Nord Stream.
