Russian diplomat named the purpose of the leaks in the media on Nord Stream

Russian Minister-Counselor Andrey Ledenev named the purpose of the leaks to the media from various anonymous sources regarding the sabotage at Nord Stream. According to him, this is done in order to confuse those people who want to understand this issue, media reports.

“First of all, attention is drawn to the fact that this publication instantly received a green light in the local information field, literally flying around the media in an instant,” the diplomat said.

He stressed that at the same time, journalists diligently hush up the results of the investigation of journalist Seymour Hersh on the blowing up of pipelines. Ledenev added that this indicates a lack of impartiality in the findings of US intelligence agencies, noting that anonymous leaks are deliberately allowed to confuse those who want to know the truth about what happened.

Earlier, American political scientist Dmitry Drobnitsky said that the United States would benefit from a new version of the Nord Stream explosions, which was voiced in the public space and became a response to the investigation of journalist Seymour Hersh.
