Putin promised to strengthen the defense capability of Russia

Russia will strengthen its defense capabilities and ensure operational security.

This was stated by President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with members of the government, which is broadcast by the Telegram channel “Kremlin. News”.

“I emphasize that we reliably guarantee the security and interests of the country, we will increase our defense capability,” he said.

In addition, the head of state stated the need to achieve in the near future the solution of issues related to the sovereign and independent development of the state despite external pressure and various threats.

At the end of December, Putin thanked the leaders and staff of enterprises of the military-industrial complex (DIC) for “a real contribution to strengthening the defense capability and security of Russia” and conscientious work. He also expressed the hope that the state defense order in 2023 will be executed in full.
