Kadyrov revealed the details of the plan for the regrouping of troops during the NVO
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, was aware of the plan to regroup troops during a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine.
He spoke about its details in an interview with Rossiya 1, which was shown in the program 60 Minutes.
“We left the territories ourselves, it was a military-tactical move, I was fully aware when it was planned,” the head of the region said. According to him, such a decision was necessary in order to continue to pursue an important military policy for Russia today.
In early November 2022, Army General Sergei Surovikin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu decided to organize defense along the left bank of the Dnieper. On November 10, Russian troops began to redeploy as planned.
Kadyrov, commenting on the relevant actions, noted that the military made a difficult but right choice between senseless sacrifices and saving the lives of soldiers.
