Deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma Maxim Vasiliev, whose video greeting from a vacation in Mexico spread in social networks at the end of December, was issued a warning.

This punishment became known to the regional agency KurskCity.

On January 11, the Regional Duma held a meeting on compliance with the regulations. The fact of Vasiliev’s violation of parliamentary ethics was established.

The Kursk deputy participated in the event remotely via video link. Vasiliev apologized for his act to colleagues and voters.

Prior to this, the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party Andrey Turchak and the Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit criticized. In response, Vasiliev noted that the authorities had drawn hasty conclusions about this situation, and promised to personally talk to Turchak and Starovoit.

In December 2022, a video appeared on the network in which Vasiliev drinks cocktails on the beach with the words: “A lot of money. Lots of good vibes. Happy New Year!”

Earlier it was reported that Denis Dolzhenko, a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Vologda Oblast, was expelled from United Russia.

On January 6, Dolzhenko published on VKontakte a photo from a run from the Dubai Marina area. In a comment to the picture, the deputy wrote that he skis mediocrely, and does not consider running in the cold a comfortable activity. “I listened to the recommendations of weather forecasters, warmed up,” he wrote.
