Hindu Ramaswami announced his candidacy for the US presidential election. What is known about him
The 2024 US presidential election has a new candidate. Vivek Ramaswamy, a 37-year-old American businessman with Indian roots, announced his nomination.
Ramaswami’s video message appeared live on Fox News.
Ramaswami said he was inspired by Martin Luther King, and as a candidate he would oppose the “leftist” ideology and “psychological slavery” that abolishes freedom of speech in America.
“Today, we are experiencing a crisis of national identity. Our nation is hungry for cause, purpose, meaning. What used to fill this void, such as faith, patriotism, hard work and family, has disappeared. Now we accept one secular religion after another, from covidism to climatism and gender ideology to satisfy our deeper need for identity, but we can’t even answer the question of what it means to be an American in 2023.”
“I grew up in Ohio in the 90s. I was a skinny kid with a funny last name and nerdy glasses. My parents taught me that if you want to rise in life, you have to be outstanding. Achievement was my key to getting ahead. I founded a multi-billion dollar company, at the same time he married, raised children and followed his faith in God,” Ramaswami said.
The new US presidential candidate made a career in business, ran several investment firms, and then wrote the best-selling book Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam, which exposed leftist tendencies in large companies.
