“Bring a sports bag, there are 150,000”: “Servant of the people” Trukhin offered a huge bribe to a policeman after a high-profile accident
UP journalists said that they received a video of the police after the accident, in which Alexander Trukhin, a people’s deputy from the Servant of the People faction, became a participant.

According to the journalists, they received video from the cameras of the policemen who were at the scene of the accident and talked to one of the policemen, Sergei Petrik.
Judging by the published video, at first Trukhin tried to leave the scene. After that, not paying attention to the fact that everything is being recorded on camera, the MP offered the police a bribe.
According to a witness caught on video, Trukhin was driving the car, but during the proceedings, another person stated that he was driving the car.
On the video, you can hear how the people’s deputy says: “Come on and quietly go”, “We will find you later and I will thank you.”
The policeman said that he did not remember exactly what Trukhin told him, but in general, according to Petrik, he repeated that he was an important person and all the policemen would be happy if they let him go.
According to the police officer, Trukhin said that he had a bag of money in the trunk of his car, and he was ready to give it to law enforcement officers.
“Bring a sports bag, there are 150,000,” Trukhin told the policeman, and later offered again: “I’ll ship you 150 just in case. Keep it for yourself as a bonus.”
According to Petrik, Trukhin had signs of alcoholic intoxication, he clarified that it is possible to speak about the state of alcoholic intoxication only on the basis of the results of the examination.
The people’s deputy refused to take an alcohol test.
The editors of the UP publicly addressed the State Bureau of Investigation with the question whether the video materials from the police cameras shown by the journalists were attached to the case file. If not, the editors expressed their readiness to transfer the available materials to the SBI in full.
