Antonov expressed confidence in the destruction of any weapons supplied to Kyiv

Russia’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, expressed confidence that the Russian military would destroy any weapon that the West would supply to Kyiv.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Embassy in the United States.

“It should become obvious to everyone: no matter what weapons the Americans or NATO supply to the Zelensky regime, we will destroy them,” the diplomat said.

He also noted that tanks with Nazi symbols are appearing in Ukraine. Antonov hopes for the normalization of the situation and the improvement of good neighborly relations after the change of power in Ukraine.

According to the ambassador, pumping up Kyiv with weapons is a mistake, which will lead to an increase in casualties among civilians and create even more problems for the country.

Earlier, Asia Times journalist Gabriel Onrada called the territory of Ukraine an ideal place to test the latest tank developments in Russia and the West. He believes that tank battles are just around the corner. He also suggested that the British Challenger 2 could compete with modernized Russian T-90s.
