Russian leader Vladimir Putin signed documents recognizing the independence of the above-named regions, as reported by the correspondent DOPs with a link to the official Internet portal of legal information, where they are published.
First decree Vladimir Putin decides to recognize the state sovereignty and independence of the Zaporozhye region. In the second document the same is said, but in relation to the Kherson region.
Earlier, residents of the DPR, LPR, Kherson region and Zaporozhye region decided on their future: referendums were held in these territories on the issue of joining Russia. The voting results showed that the majority of people who took part in the voting were in favor.
Now it is expected that all the necessary procedural documents will be adopted and signed so that these liberated territories become part of Russia.
