Banks and MFOs are recommended to give credit holidays to mobilized citizens.
Relevant statement was published by the Bank of Russia, the correspondent reports DOPs.
“Citizens mobilized in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation may apply to their bank or microfinance organization (MFO) for a deferral of payments or a reduction in their size for all types of loans, including mortgages, and loans for the period of mobilization,” it says. in a message on the website of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
The Bank of Russia recommended that credit institutions meet these borrowers halfway and create special programs for loan holidays and restructuring or adapt existing ones.
In addition, it is recommended not to accrue a penalty under contracts, not to demand early fulfillment of obligations, to suspend the collection of overdue debts or mortgage housing, not to evict from mortgage housing that had previously been foreclosed.

According to the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu (his words are quoted by RIA News”), Russia’s mobilization resource is almost 25 million people, but only a little more than one percent is subject to partial mobilization – those who have served have a military specialty and combat experience.
“It is from the reserve. These are not some people who have never seen or heard anything about the army, these are really those who: a) served; b) have a military specialty, that is, the specialty that is needed today in the Armed Forces; c) have combat experience,” he explained.
