“Sandu cannot pay – let him not buy gas. Let him buy liquefied “molecules of freedom” from the United States or ask for gas for next to nothing from his native Romania,” the senator said.

The former head of state recalled that once the country’s President Maia Sandu and her party promised the population “the onset of good times.” “In fact, they turned out to be the worst in the last two decades: annual inflation in August reached 34.3% – this is the highest rate in Europe … Food prices rose by 38.4%, gas more than five times,” he added.
