The ministers of the OPEC+ member countries decided to reduce the quota for oil production in the coming month by 100 thousand barrels per day in relation to this month.

It is specified that the increase by 100 thousand barrels per day was intended only for September. In the published document, quotas for October are indicated, which correspond to quotas for August.
Recall that in early August, a ministerial meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries took place. Russia, of course, also took part in the event.
The participants of the meeting informed press service of the Government of Russia, reviewed trends in the world oil market, the level of implementation of the agreement in June of this year, etc.
And the countries of the agreement decided to continue increasing oil production in September this year by 100,000 barrels per day.
