Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo. They discussed a number of topics, the correspondent reports. DOPs with reference to Kremlin press office.
The politicians, in particular, considered the development of relations between the two countries with an emphasis on the implementation of the agreements reached earlier.
The parties also discussed global food security.
“Vladimir Putin, in particular, informed about the efforts being made by Russia, together with Turkey and the UN Secretariat, to stabilize the situation on the world grain and fertilizer markets,” the press service adds.
As it has recently become known, this week Vladimir Putin will meet with his colleague from Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The event will be held on August 19 in Russia.
