The British government has published a video with resigned Prime Minister Boris Johnson, filmed in the cockpit of the country’s Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet during an aerial refueling training flight, reports Dailymail.
The video was filmed by Johnson himself, dressed in a pilot’s outfit. He said that for some time he even flew the plane himself and managed to perform several aerobatics.
After a while, the wing commander said to me: “Do you want to try to fly yourself?” I moved the aircraft control stick immediately to the right, and we made an aileron roll. Then I pulled the handle back, and we made a beautiful dead loop – said he, speaking at the Farnborough Airshow.
During his speech, Johnson also compared his leadership of the Conservative Party to flying.
Meanwhile, former UK Treasury chief Rishi Sunak became winner of the televised debate among candidates for the post of prime minister of the country. The politician scored 24% of the votes of viewers, who considered his performance the best.
July 7 Johnson announced about resigning from the post of Prime Minister of Great Britain and the leader of the Conservative Party. He made a corresponding statement, addressing the nation. The ex-head of the Cabinet will act as head of the party and government until new elections.
