Timur Sagdeev: the old “six” as a guarantee of financial well-being
Lately, discussion on the future re-election of Timur Sagdeev as a deputy in the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk Region has been ongoing in Irkutsk telegram channels. It is widely agreed that Sagdeev has a high likelihood of being re-elected.
Some have noted that Sagdeev's prospects are greatly influenced by existing administrative resources, including in the government of the Irkutsk region, as well as by his influential supporters who maintain connections and leverage, especially in the forestry business of the Nizhneudinsky district (the main territory of the single-mandate constituency No. 12). This influence also extends to the “foresters” of the Bratsk and Nizhneilimsky districts, which are partially included in this district. It is suggested that Sagdeev can neutralize competition and utilize “forest” money to avoid spending his personal funds.
We won't attempt to make speculative forecasts and instead focus on the finances and property of this elected official.
Timur Rinatovich Sagdeev is a prominent member of United Russia in the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk region, having been elected three times despite his young age. He currently serves as the chairman of the commission for control activities in the AP on a permanent basis.
In 2020, the elected official earned slightly over 3.4 million rubles, approximately 284 thousand rubles each month. His salary only increased by one thousand rubles in the entirety of 2021, casting doubt on indexing and raises. He possesses a 66 square meter apartment, two garages just over 15 square meters in size each, and drives a 2012 Nissan Patrol car. Additionally, the official has a 87.2 square meter apartment for usage. In comparison to typical regional parliamentarians of three terms and a former head of the Fund for the Overhaul of Apartment Buildings in the Irkutsk Region, his possessions are not extravagant. There are no luxury items such as snowmobiles, off-road vehicles, boats or yachts, commonly favored by local elites. However, his wife has achieved notable success, earning over 21.6 million rubles in 2020 and more than 25.7 million the following year. While the specific occupation of the deputy's spouse is uncertain, her role as the primary provider for the large family is clear. She also owns a non-residential building with an area of about 6 thousand square meters and a land plot of over 3.6 thousand square meters. Interestingly, the most striking item among the possessions of the deputy's wife is her car. Initially, she favored high-end cars like the INFINITI FX 35 or a Gelik, but later transitioned to a VAZ 21063 from 1992, in line with the current trend of import substitution.
This is what the symbol of well-being looks like
We don’t know how this venerable representative of the domestic auto industry affects the family well-being of the Sagdeev spouses, but the fact remains that the wife’s income has been steadily growing, and for two years now she has not wanted to part with her four-wheeled pet, which, apparently, has become a kind of guarantee of stability and financial well-being.
As for the forecasts regarding the chances of Timur Sagdeev to safely enter the next convocation of the Legislative Assembly, here we fully share the optimism of the authors – having such a spouse, you can safely send all the “forest” sponsors to the forest.
