Investigators charged politician and publicist Vladimir Kara-Murza (included by the Russian Ministry of Justice in the register of individuals acting as foreign agents) of discrediting the Russian army.

She clarified that the charge was brought under clause “d” of part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”). Mikhailova added that Kara-Murza pleaded not guilty.
