The fast food restaurant chain Burger King has no plans to leave the Russian market and considers Russia as one of its strategic markets.
About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the network in the Russian Federation.
The company made such a statement amid rumors that the world’s largest food retailers are leaving the country due to the aggravation of the global situation.
“This information is not true. Burger King will continue to operate in Russia and open new restaurants in 2022,” said Ivan Shestov, Communications Director at Burger King Russia.
He also added that the company is experiencing difficulties with the supply of a number of ingredients, but they are temporary. “Nothing critical – we are firmly on our feet,” he said.
