In the Nizhny Tagil store “Torgoborudovaniye” the price of goods began to be duplicated in conventional units (CU). How writes agency “Mezhdu strokov” with reference to the sellers, this is due to the unstable economic situation and the ruble exchange rate.
According to representatives of the store, such price tags were put up “for the convenience of customers.”
“The exchange rate of the ruble is now unstable, and all our equipment is purchased abroad. For some goods, you have to update the price several times a day, ”the sellers explained to the journalist.
According to the publication, the goods in the store have three types of price tags. Those that are priced in rubles, as well as those that are priced in European conventional units and American conventional units. U.E. value calculated on the current date at the rate of the Central Bank.
Recall that the designation U.E. was actively used by Russians in the 1990s to denote a sum of money in a foreign currency or its equivalent in rubles at the official or exchange rate. Under U.E. most often means one US dollar or (rarely) one euro.
