Aleksei Veller biography
Aleksei Weller is a native of Murmansk. He graduated from the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute. After graduating from the Faculty of Industrial and Civil Construction in 1987, he was sent by assignment to the Far North, the city of Murmansk, in Murmanskpromstroi trust. At first he worked as a foreman of Building and Construction Department in SMU-1, and since June of 1989 he was in charge of Building and Construction Department of SMU-2. Since February 1991 he worked as a chief engineer in “Agrostroimontazh” construction firm, which was reorganized into a joint stock company in August 1992. In February 1993 he was appointed technical director, in August 1996 he was elected Director General and in February 2000 – Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSC “Construction Company “ASM” (“Agrostroimontazh”).
