I told him twice, it satisfied him,” Gorozhanko said, comparing the investigator with a “regional theater director.” Also, the ex-employee of the FBK said that during interrogation they put pressure on him and entered information instead of him.
Gorozhanko began his speech by calling the accusations against the politician absurd. The ex-FBK employee refused to testify against Navalny. “Despite the fact that I am a witness for the prosecution, I act as a witness for the defense. I believe that Navalny acted in accordance with the current legislation, ”he said. A smile wandered across Navalny’s face at that time, a Mediazona correspondent reports.
Navalny asked the ex-employee if he was aware of the risk by reporting on the pressure of the investigation? “Naturally, I take risks, but the risk is justified,” Gorozhanko answered.
In his opinion, the investigators brought him to the case as a witness for the prosecution because of the FBK’s statements that Gorozhanko had leaked the data of Alexei Navalny’s supporters to the network. “We decided that since I quarreled with my colleagues, I can tell a lot of interesting things,” Gorozhanko said.
