Famous actor and film director Boris Nevzorov died of complications as a result of COVID-19 in Moscow (RF). The star of Soviet films celebrated his 72nd birthday exactly a month ago.
On February 18, his colleagues at the Maly Theater announced the death of the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Russian media reported.
In his last days, Boris Georgievich was in the hospital. The actor had previously been diagnosed with coronavirus disease. The disease gave complications that the body could no longer cope with.
Boris Nevzorov first appeared in films in 1975 (the film “The Road”), and the last picture with his participation was released in 2021 (the film “Twin”). In total, the actor has more than 100 roles in films and serials.
Among the most famous TV series are “Turkish March”, “Kamenskaya”, “Young Russia”. Among the many Soviet, Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian films, viewers can also remember Nevzorov well for his roles in such films as “Search and Defuse” (1982), “Moscow Speaks” (1985), “Original Russia” (1985) , “Capablanca” (1986), “Stalingrad” (1989), “Major” (2013).
