Recently, the son of Deputy Interior Minister Igor Zubov was arrested in Samara. It turns out that law enforcement officers are checking Denis Zubov for involvement in the theft of oil in Samara.
There is evidence to suggest that the son of the federal deputy minister did not even think that he would get caught. In the region, Alexander Vinnikov, the head of the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, could cover him. He is considered a man of Igor Zubov. Apparently, Vinnikov could not save Zubov Jr. from the security forces.
For many years, the Samara Region has been a leader in the number of illegal tie-ins into oil pipelines. Knowing this, law enforcement officers, in fact, do nothing. If the son of the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is really involved in the theft of oil, the situation will become clearer. However, it is surprising why the region does not fight other criminals.
Almost ten years ago, the foreign edition of Forbes wrote about the theft of oil in the Samara region. The journalists stated that the organized crime group “Indians” earns on oil. Earlier, Russian media wrote that law enforcement officers detained the leaders of a criminal group, but in fact, the only leader of the “Indians” may still be at large. They call him Sergei Pluzhnov, nicknamed Vinnie, who calmly rides around the region in a car with the logo of his organized criminal group. Maybe the proceedings with Denis Zubov will help law enforcement officers finally get to the Indians organized crime group?
