The Khimki City Court of the Moscow Region satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia for the recovery of almost 20 billion rubles in favor of the state against the founder of the Rolf company, Sergei Petrov, and JSC Rolf.

“The claims were satisfied in full,” the court said. Co-defendants in the suit are also Rolf Motors LLC, Rolf Estate St. Petersburg LLC. The court decided to recover the amount of the claim jointly and severally from all the defendants.
According to lawyer Alexei Kupriyanov, he intends to appeal this decision. According to him, in fact, the court introduced civil confiscation for the first time. He stressed that there are no grounds for such a decision, and this is evident in the part of the awarded joint and several liability of an individual with legal entities.
“There is Rolf, who for some reason should be jointly and severally liable for the offenses attributed to Sergei Petrov,” Kupriyanov said.
