In Chelyabinsk, an 81-year-old resident of the Central District was refused to receive a pension. As his daughter said, the man is still working and is not at home when a postal employee arrives, so his wife usually receives money by proxy.
“This time the postman did not give out a pension, she gave the following explanations on this matter: he had not signed for a long time. And she didn’t give the money for the benefit for the overhaul that the postman brought. That is, someone at the post office or in the FIU doubted whether the recipient was alive ?! And the visit ended with the sending of the ninth dozen elderly people who exchanged money to the FIU, where the path is not close, ”the pensioner’s daughter Alla Lundina was indignant in the Let Kotova Knows group on the VKontakte social network.
According to the press service of the regional branch of the PFR, the confirmation of long-term powers of attorney is a standard procedure that must be confirmed once a year.
“The payment of a pension by proxy, the validity of which exceeds one year, is subject to annual confirmation by the pensioner of the fact of his registration at the place of receipt of the insurance pension. To do this, a pensioner once a year must receive a pension personally at home or arrive at the Pension Fund with a passport. According to the information available to the Pension Fund, Lundin Albert Mikhailovich is currently working, he has not received a pension personally for a year. Therefore, a question arose at the post office about the relevance of the power of attorney, ”commented the FIU.
The Pension Fund also clarified that the payment of the pension for the current month to Lundin will be made today, February 15.
