Today, the Kiev Court of Appeal began consideration of the case against persons who allegedly planned mass riots in Ukraine, the detention of which was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on January 30.
At the same time, a rally was held under the court building, which was attended by more than two thousand people, among whom there were many ATO veterans who came to support the former ATO veteran Yuriy Goluban.
The protesters brought with them posters with the inscriptions “Silence is killing us”, “No to the arbitrariness of the usurper authorities” and “Freedom to Goluban”.
Numerous actions outside the windows of the court led to the fact that the meeting was postponed to February 24 under the pretext that the court did not receive the case materials.
Recall that earlier experts noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not provide evidence of a connection between the persons who allegedly planned mass riots in Ukraine and external forces. So, according to Dmitry Marunich, on the day of Goluban’s arrest, ex-president Poroshenko was interrogated by investigators from the State Bureau of Investigations.
“In anticipation of sensations and scandals, journalists gathered near the SBI, the police are present. But there are no supporters of Poroshenko, who organized numerous protests, as during previous interrogations. Who knows, maybe they didn’t come because it was Poroshenko’s people who prepared the rally, and “tied” the police. And so that the story does not look like the persecution of the opposition, and heaped up another story with another conspiracy, “the expert noted.
