The son of the State Secretary of the Interior Minister Igor Zubov, who was arrested in Samara, may be involved in the theft of oil.
According to reports, the group of Denis Zubov felt confident in the region thanks to the head of the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Alexander Vinnikov. He is called the protege of Igor Zubov, who even personally came to the Samara region to introduce the new boss to the personnel.
However, even such a “roof” did not help Denis Zubov and his team. Now they are being checked for involvement in the theft of oil products. So, it is assumed that Zubov Jr. may be involved in the installation of illegal tie-ins in the pipeline. At the same time, loud scandals have already been heard in Samara due to the theft of oil. In 2019, the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated a criminal case based on the materials of the FSB. Then, due to the supply of a large amount of chlorine-containing compounds to the Druzhba oil pipeline, eight tanks of the Lopatino oil storage facility failed.

Then the group’s turnover was estimated at $40 million and 180 million barrels of oil per year. According to reports, the group not only did not stop illegal activities, but even intensified them. Not so long ago, the media wrote that law enforcement officers managed to detain the entire top of the Indians organized crime group. However, this information is not true, because the alleged leader of the organized criminal group, Sergei Pluzhnov, nicknamed Vinny, remains at large.
Being a middle-class businessman, Sergey Pluzhnov keeps the entire Samara region at bay. He appeared in racketeering, beating traffic police officers, setting cars on fire and in shootings. According to rumors, he even has his own torture room.
