Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, announced the completion of part of the military exercises by the Russian Armed Forces (AF). According to him, the troops of the Eastern Military District and the Airborne Forces participating in the exercise, together with the Belarusian armed forces, are working out the issues of repelling aggression against the Union State during a defensive operation.
In February 2022, joint military exercises “Allied Resolve-2022” are being held in Belarus with Russia. As the head of the republic, Alexander Lukashenko, stressed, the military is practicing confrontation with the forces of Poland, the Baltic States and Ukraine.
