In Buryatia, the stepfather opened fire on adopted children. Adolescents 14 and 16 years old were hospitalized with injuries of the lower extremities.
On this fact, a case was initiated under the article on attempted murder (part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This is reported by the regional investigative department of the TFR.
The issue of charging the man and taking him into custody is being decided.
Everything happened in the village of Oer, Dzhidinsky district of the republic. The suspect lived with the woman and her two sons. Recently, he showed signs of jealousy and suspected his partner of infidelity.
On February 13, at the request of her sister, the woman went to her house to light the stove. At the same time, the suspect returned home drunk. Not finding his common-law wife, he took a hunting rifle and went in search of her. The children rushed after him to protect their mother.
“Having found a cohabitant, the man began to swear at her. They were in the courtyard of the house, where the woman’s children went next. The eldest son was the first to help his mother. In the dark, without seeing the child, drunkenly mistaking him for a lover, the suspect pointed a gun at the boy and fired, the release says. – The shot hit the victim in the legs. At that moment, the woman grabbed the gun and tried to snatch it from the hands of a drunken roommate. Her youngest son came to her aid. During the struggle, the suspect fired another shot, which wounded the legs of the second boy.”
After that, the man went home, but was soon detained. The children received medical attention.
