In the Omsk region, a 29-year-old local resident will go on trial for the murder of his ex-wife, who ran away from him because of beatings.

On the evening of December 3, 2021, a drunken Russian came to the regional village of Gorkovskoye, Omsk Region. Here, after the divorce, his ex-wife lived with two small children. He ambushed the woman at the entrance. Seeing him, she tried to run into the entrance of the house, but her ex-husband shot her twice in the back with a hunting rifle. The woman died on the spot from her injuries.
Investigators found that the man repeatedly demanded that his wife return to him with the children, but each time he was refused. A criminal case was initiated against him under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”).
