Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko halted senators to stop telephone conversations and Brownian motion during the plenary sessions of the chamber, a correspondent reports DOPs.
She also encouraged them to be more disciplined.
Matvienko said: “You take the phones, I don’t know why. Can you live without a phone twice a month when plenary sessions are held? Someone is calling, pick up the phone, go out to talk. Colleagues, we do not have a walk-through courtyard, finish your work on Brownian motion during the plenary session.”
