The condition of the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who was hospitalized with coronavirus, is assessed as stable.
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health of Russia, writes RIA Novosti.
Currently, doctors continue to provide all possible assistance in this situation, the department added.
Earlier, immunologist Nikolai Kryuchkov suggested that after recovering from coronavirus, LDPR chairman Vladimir Zhirinovsky may have a long-term post-covid syndrome. Fears are caused not only by the survival of elderly patients, but also by the post-covid syndrome, the likelihood of which is very high, especially after a severe course of the disease, the physician added.
The LDPR said that the chairman of the party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, is on the mend, is currently working with documents and transferring assignments to activists and deputies of the party through his assistants. Members of the same party support a politician who is not easy to be in isolation.
