The senator told RIA Novosti about this.
According to him, he passed a positive test for coronavirus, but does not feel symptoms of COVID-19.
The senator added that due to illness he would not be able to attend the meeting of the Federation Council on Friday, February 11.
On Wednesday, February 9, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported that the head of the LDPR party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, was hospitalized in the Central Clinical Hospital (CCH) on February 2 due to the consequences of infection with the omicron strain of coronavirus. The department clarified that the politician is in a stable condition and receives all the necessary assistance from doctors.
