Tinkov said Britain made a mistake when he was included in the sanctions list
Oleg Tinkov, a Russian businessman and founder of Tinkoff Bank, said he should never have been sanctioned.
He wrote about this on his Instagram page (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).
According to the businessman, the British authorities made a mistake when including him in the sanctions list.
“I should never have been sanctioned, but I understand that mistakes can be made in difficult situations,” Tinkov said. At the same time, he expressed the hope that the mistake made would soon be corrected.
